The After School Club at Canterbury Road Primary School is run by qualified members of staff; Mrs White and Miss Lewis and is run from The Willows building.

Our emphasis is to ensure that all children attending After School Club receive the care and security they need to enable them to feel safe and secure in a happy environment before starting the school day. 

Children are collected by staff members from their classroom at the end of the school day and are taken up to The Willows building where parents can collect them at any time between 3:20 and 4:30pm*

The children at after school club are given a chance to complete any home tasks, AR or TTR quizzes and take part in adult -led activities such as gardening, baking and craft. There is also a secure outside area to play in during good weather.

We ask that all children are promptly collected by 4:30pm. Late collection may mean parents encurr an additional charge. 

If you have an interest in your child attending The After School Club, please notify the school office and complete the application form. Once you have applied for After School Club and there is availability your child is able to attend on any day of the week regularly or as a one-off. 

Times and Prices

After School Club is open Monday – Friday during school term 3:20pm – 4:30pm

£5 per session 

After School Club can be paid via the school online payment system School Money Site or via cash on the day or in advance.

* Children who are not registered for After School Club but not collected by 3:20pm without notice will be taken to After School Club and parents will be charged accordingly.
