Year Five: Term 6 Home Learning

Good morning Year 5,

It feels like forever since I’ve emailed! I hope you all had a lovely and well-deserved half term. I’m glad the weather was so nice! I had some lovely work sent through last week all about our school. Some really lovely ideas about what a school should be and it was really lovely to read about the subjects you enjoy and your experiences at Canterbury Road.

I am glad to inform you all that we are back to normal this week. We have had all of our computers updated and I am very glad to have my laptop back and be able to email you all again!

As you may be aware, some of the children in Year R, 1 and 6 are coming back this week which means I will be busy teaching in class. This means that I won’t be able to respond to your work until after school hours – if you have any problems during the day, you can phone the school office or access the work via the school website (click home learning, then the year and date.)

I will also be sending out all of the week’s work on a Monday now. I have attached a document for each day that has the usual GPS, English and Maths and then Topic work on Monday. It is no different to what we have been doing, I will just send it all at once (as I will be quite busy at school and don’t want to forget!) You still need to send your work daily so I can respond.

I hope this all makes sense and I look forward receiving all of you work.

Miss Oxberry

p.s Don’t forget to read – your AR targets have been reset for this term.
