Dear Year 5,
It has been a strange few weeks, not being at school and unfortunately, it seems that we will not be seeing you for a little while yet. This is all very strange and I miss each and every one of you but it is necessary and important for keeping us all safe! I hope that you all had a lovely Easter and enjoyed the sunny weather.
It has been so lovely to receive emails from you telling me what you have been up to, they have cheered me up and helped me as I am missing you all lots. Now as we head into Term 5, I would like you to keep doing some work each day and ensure you are reading daily. I have set you a new target for Term 5 so you need to keep up with the AR quizzes – I can see how you are doing and how near your target you are.
As you can see, I have attached your topic work for the week; this can be done over the course of the week and sent to me on Friday. I will also be sending some English, Maths and GPS each day. Make sure that you do these activities and then send them back to me. It is important to keep our brains active to maintain our health.
I look forward to receiving lots of lovely work from you all. If you have any issues or are struggling with the work please email me and I will try to help you as best I can. I really hope that I get to see you all soon, until then keep smiling, stay safe and make the most of everyday!
